"Freezing Level" follows director Euan Southcott, an ex-sponsored British snowboarder, as he explores how global warming is affecting the winter sports scene that he grew up with. We visit both threatened and thriving locations, in the UK and abroad, and meet those best placed to discuss changes in weather patterns: resort owners, industry leaders, professional snowboarders, ski patrollers and local people. Along the way we are entertained by gorgous views, a spirit of exploration and the tricks and slams of snowboarders showing just how much we will lose if predictions of global warming prove to be accurate.

Palm-sweating footage is mixed with thoughtful clips of his friends and family as a portrait of the man-of-the-moment is put together in this series commissioned by Sender Films for National Geographic.
